about

Our third album is named after a common burial practice in Tibet, where a human corpse is cut in certain places and placed on top of a mountain, exposed to birds of prey. The Chinese government banned the practice (which it considered barbaric) in the 1960s, but began allowing it again in the 1980s. This practice is considered not only honorable, but also the only acceptable one for many Tibetans.

This album has its origins in the admiration we have for the Tibetan spirit and tradition.

In addition to traditional ambient atmosphere, noises and synths, this recording features subtle drums, film samples and self-made instruments, including waterphone and kalimba.
